Why WorryWoos in your Classroom?

The WorryWoo Monsters IS a series of books and plush characters used by teachers, counselors and social workers nationwide to help children discuss feelings, while learning concepts such as empathy, self confidence, appreciation and mindfulness. The  WorryWoo books are non-graded Social Emotional (SEL) themed readers

which can be used  with students from grades K-5.

The  teacher's kit is flexible enough to  be used on

it's own (each book has a related lesson plan), or

as part of an SEL curriculum.

WorryWoo monsters have been such a success at our school.

I have been using them as the curriculum with classroom guidance. It has made classroom guidance so exciting for both the students and myself, the guidance counselor.
